The Center for World Music's annual cultural tours of Indonesia have been led since 1976 by ethnomusicologist Dr. Robert E. Brown, President of the Center. This year's tour visits cultural sites in Central Java and Bali, with an emphasis on first-hand encounters with the Indonesian performing arts and the artists who maintain their rich traditions.
