1999 Cultural Tour to Indonesia
| This summer the Center will again be offering its annual cultural
tour of Indonesia, led since 1976 by ethnomusicologist Dr. Robert
E. Brown, President of the Center. As described in the poster
above and in detail in the calendar below, the tour visits cultural
sites in Central Java and Bali, with an emphasis on first-hand encounters
with the Indonesian performing arts and the artists who maintain
their rich traditions.
Air fare, hotels, performances, and all breakfasts are included in the cost. Whether you're a teacher, student, retiree, or somewhere in between, please do consider joining us for this very special tour.
