Enjoy an evening of geets, ghazals, bhajans, Odissi, and other light vocal styles presented by these highly acclaimed radio and TV artists. Performing in Oriya, Hindi and Sanskrit, these performers have mastered musical styles from the very traditional to the popular folk trends of yesteryear, elevating them to the status of an art form. Saumyasri, Sidhartha, and Itishree give deeply touching treatments of the old and the new, while Sukumar, a leading tabla player from Orissa, gives a superb percussion accompaniment. This musical ensemble is sure to strike a chord of harmony and longing.

Bring yourself, your family and friends to patronize Indian music and and culture at its best.  This promises to be an unforgettable, highly entertaining musical evening.

This program is made possible with partial support from the Commission for Arts & Culture, City of San Diego.
