Enjoy an evening of geets, ghazals, bhajans, Odissi,
and other light vocal styles presented by these highly acclaimed
radio and TV artists. Performing in Oriya, Hindi and Sanskrit, these
performers have mastered musical styles from the very traditional
to the popular folk trends of yesteryear, elevating them to the
status of an art form. Saumyasri, Sidhartha, and Itishree give deeply
touching treatments of the old and the new, while Sukumar, a leading
tabla player from Orissa, gives a superb percussion accompaniment.
This musical ensemble is sure to strike a chord of harmony and longing.
